Leandi Van Der Walt 

Pilates Instruction

A couple of years ago Leandi hurt her back, (prolapsed disc) and was not able to exercise because of the pain. This is when she started doing pilates, she was soon hooked and from there trained as an instructor.

She completed her BASI (Body Arts & Science International) Instructors course in October 2009 and has been teaching ever since. She is passionate about the benefits of pilates and is looking forward to working and sharing these benefits with you in the classes.

Originally from South Africa, she’s been in New Zealand just over a year and continuing her pilates training.

“I’m a true believer of the benefits and that almost everybody can benefit from practising pilates. Every exercise can be modified and adjusted for injuries and modified from beginner to advanced level, the most sedentary person to a super fit athlete can enjoy and achieve results from Pilates.”
